Pricing
NENH has now transitioned its patient care model to Integrative Concierge Care with two available subscriptions including Active Care and Maintenance Care. We accept cards and checks from Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Students and veterans are eligible for a 10% discount off of services. Please note that an Active Care Subscription must be established prior to a patient’s first appointment.

Insurance
LD1030 was implemented in 2019 and mandated Naturopathic Services’ coverage by all private insurance and group plans in Maine. Though NENH is not in network in any insurance plans, patients may use Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts for their monthly subscriptions. For reimbursement of out-of-pocket health care costs at NENH or application of these costs to your deductible, please contact your insurance company to determine in which form NENH super bills should be submitted for Concierge Care. The front desk maintains a list of patients who receive superbills for their appointments.
NENH requires that all patients have an established Primary Care Physician for insurance purposes and manage acute emergencies. Though Naturopathic Doctors are trained as Primary Care Physicians, due to ND’s restrictions in Maine, they are unable to function as primary care physicians. Please contact your insurance company for a list of PCP’s accepting new patients in your area. NENH also maintains a list of PCPs who are amenable to working with an ND as a part of the patient’s care team.
